Las Vegas welcomes millions of visitors from Australia, China, Japan, South Korea, India, New Zealand, Singapore, and the Philippines every year. The city's world-class entertainment, shopping, and dining make it a top international destination. This guide covers everything Asia-Pacific travellers need to know.

Flight Times
Direct flights to Las Vegas operate from Sydney (15h), Tokyo (11h), Seoul (12h), Shanghai (12h). Many Asia-Pacific visitors connect through Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Honolulu. If connecting through LA, consider booking the Hollywood tour for the end of your trip so you can fly home from Las Vegas after the tour.
Time Zones
Las Vegas is Pacific Time (GMT-8). That's 18 hours behind Sydney, 17 hours behind Tokyo, 16 hours behind Shanghai. Jet lag is significant — plan for 2-3 days of adjustment. Our early-morning tour pickup actually helps reset your body clock.
Dining — Halal, Vegetarian, and Asian Options
Las Vegas has excellent options for every dietary requirement:
- Halal restaurants are widely available, especially at Resorts World, and we ensure halal options at the restaurant lunch on our Hollywood tour
- Vegetarian and vegan options are standard at every Las Vegas restaurant and on our tour
- Asian cuisine — Las Vegas has outstanding Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, and Indian restaurants. The Chinatown on Spring Mountain Road is one of America's best
- Hot water and tea — most hotels provide kettles on request. Starbucks and local cafés serve hot water and tea everywhere
